  • CCP/I.S.P. Camp in Winnipeg. CIPS Winnipeg hosted a weekend examination review. Attendees included a number of systems analysts & directors of IS/IT operations. A really successful session with most of the attendees achieving their CCP. A session is scheduled in Edmonton on May 3-4, 2005 at Grant MacEwan College and another is scheduled for Calgary in September, 2005. Currently discussions are underway to hold a study and examination review session in St. John's Newfoundland and one in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island.

  • CBIP Review Sessions: The ICCP went out to India, trained and tested 18 people on the CBIP examinations, and following that on-site course created a business relationship with Iflex Solutions Ltd., to become our test partner in India. Since that time, many others have taken the CBIP examinations in the Iflex training department's laboratories. Further discussions are being held with InfoSys, Tata Consulting Services and Oracle to create similar arrangements within those organizations. The CBIP session at the TDWI conference in Las Vegas was a great success. IEEE is again considering becoming a constituent member of the ICCP's Board of directors. Since IEEE was a founding member of the ICCP, their application to do this would be welcome as a re-affirmation of the need for collaboration across our entire industry.
ISSA ( ) to discuss building a new general systems security examination and helping ISSA construct a number of regional workshops. ISSA are also considering becoming a constituent society of the ICCP and marketing the ICCP programs to their membership.

    • The Government of Japan to assist them with their transition from paper based examinations to a more comprehensive online examination process. We've offered them ICCP's services to help them manage their examinations using the ICCP's Examination maintenance system.

  • Online courses to help people study for ICCP examinations: This has been on ongoing request from ICCP applicants and the CORE IT Skills course is almost ready for release. It is now 97% complete and we will commence testing its operation in the next month.
