Are you looking for a way to make a gift to the Foundation for Information Technology Education (FITE).

If you or someone you know is 70 1/2 Years Old - Congress has opened the season on tax savings for 2013. An amount up to $100,000 may be transferred to the Foundation through December 31, 2013.

Like many others AITP/DPMA members, your Individual Retirement Account (IRA) has probably increased in value over the years. At age 70 1/2 you must begin taking distributions from your IRA whether or not you need this additional income.

If your income needs are met, why not consider making FITE the beneficiary of your IRA income payout. It’s a very simple process. Just contact your custodian and request that all or part of your distribution amount be transferred to FITE. The Foundation receives a nice gift for education and you avoid the additional tax burden from these distributions.

The IRA rollover gift is simple and easy with a way to provide FITE without increasing your taxable income.

FITE is a fully qualified 501(c) (3) not-for-profit organization. Gifts and grants to the Foundation are exempt from federal income tax, under section 501 (c) 3, Internal Revenue Code. Any major gift from you will greatly enhance our future efforts and also comes with substantial tax benefits.
